Spring is one of the four conventional temperate seasons, following winter and preceding summer. There are various technical definitions of spring, but local usage of the term varies according to local climate, cultures and customs. When it is spring in the Northern Hemisphere, it will be autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. At the spring equinox, days are approximately 12 hours long with day length increasing as the season progresses. Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth.

NLA is very excited to announce the programs running throughout the season. We have teamed up with local schools in the area to run after school programs and are scheduling day field trips for the students. Our focus is to build leadership skills, develop confidence and team building, gain environmental respect and awareness, promote personal responsibly and learn new skills. We achieve this by providing an environment for the students to explore their next level of potential.

We are proud to say NLA is going on it's eighth year teaming up with Connections which is an after school enrichment program run through the Holyoke Public School System. We run the Outdoor Adventure Program.

NLA runs an outdoor adventure program at Norris Elementary School in Southampton Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We had super fun with The Hampshire Regional middle school 7th and 8th graders. We traveled to the Chesterfield Scout Reservation for an All Outdoor Adventure.
